  • Manage university-wide financial supports for graduate student research and 教育, including assistantships, fellowships, scholarships, and awards.

    Organize events that enrich the academic, career development, and student life opportunities 研究生.

    Help graduate 学生 navigate challenges that affect their academic progress.

    Provide 学生, faculty, and graduate advisors with information related to graduate 教育.

  • Manage graduate student admissions, in partnership with departments, through our Graduate 招生 and Program Evaluation 团队.

    Manage enrollment targets and graduate student recruitment in partnership with CPGE 和部门.

  • Represent the needs of graduate 学生 and graduate 教育 in university decision-making 委员会及团体.

    Highlight graduate student research, scholarship, and creative activity both externally 在大学里.

    Participate in periodic program planning evaluation of all university graduate programs.

The Dean’s Office has two primary responsibilities. 第一个责任是 provide direct support and assistance to all currently enrolled graduate 学生. Our office can assist 学生 with matters related to forms, policies, scholarships, thesis/dissertations, interdisciplinary studies, and advanced graduate certificates. We also host a number of special events 研究生 such as the 菠菜网lol正规平台 Grad Slam, professional development workshops, student success workshops, writing workshops, 以及社交机会. The 打呵欠 office processes the admission for all graduate and teaching credential programs. The admissions process is two-step, whereby applicants apply to the university and 部门计划.
